About Grace

Hello and nice to meet you! My name is Grace and I teach 1st and 2nd Grade at a school in Teaneck, NJ! Before becoming a teacher, I've held various child care positions over the last 10 years. These positions include traditional babysitting, childcare in a doctors office, 3 years as a paraprofessional in a self-contained classroom using ABA style instruction, as well as providing 1-1 support for a kindergarten aged child. I've worked as an after school moderator where I've help students grades 1-8 with homework and overseen playtime. I am an Auntie to 4 beautiful children, ages 4-1yr, who I watch and engage with regularly. I love activities like coloring, playing outside, games, puzzles, using my imagination, and having fun- while still enforcing rules, boundaries, obligations, and respect. I provide help with housekeeping, prepping meals, pick-ups/drop-offs, homework, etc! Looking for a summer job before returning to work in September!
