When I first met Gloria, I knew I was in the presence of someone very special. I was looking for a sitter to help with our three month old son and a jealous 2 1/2 year old sister, but we got so much more. Gloria is a fabulous human being, a whirlwind of positive energy, wisdom and creativity. She has not only been the most amazing caregiver for everyone in my family (our children, our dog, our house, for me and my husband), she is a beloved part of our family. Her intuition, with children of all ages, is incredible. She engages and motivates children, but also gives them boundaries and guidance in both big and small parts of life. Her ability to balance fun play with necessary discipline is something I aspire to. She takes children on walks to explore nature and then sends parents professional grade pictures from her cell phone. And she's a master in the kitchen- she turned my kids on to new foods and has prepared gourmet meals for us. We love and cherish Gloria.
