I have been working with children for about 12 years and it is the most interesting job that I have done. What I like most about this jobs is how you can learn and discover things about every single child and you have to discover for yourself the way that you can help every single one, and that's what I like to. I have worked for the same family here in San Ramon for the past seven years, helping with their three your girls. It's been great seeing them blossom into young girls.

Jeannette (her profile says Gloria) sent me a message after reading my job post. After a few message exchanges where we discussed my scheduling needs, etc., Jeannette told me she was still interested. I sent her an email with some interview dates and times. A few days later, Jeannette responded and said she would meet us that same day at 8:00pm. I messaged Jeannette asking if she could push back the interview to 8:30 as I had another interview at 7:30. I gave her my cell phone number and told her we would see her that evening. I know that message alerts can be delayed so I didn't worry when I didn't hear back from her. Jeannette did not show up. As it turns out, we were done with our 7:30 p.m. interview by 8:00 p.m. and waited until 9:00 p.m. to give her a chance to show up or call. I sent Jeannette an email that night asking her what had happened? Jeannette did not respond until 6:30pm the following day and simply said, "I am so sorry but my car was a flat tire on my way to San Ramon." Hard to believe she had a flat tire. If she did and had called or emailed right away, I would have gladly set up a new interview time.
