If you need housekeeping, pickup kids from school, play with kids outside, take them to the park, groceries, laundry, swimming, arts, or reading, then I am the person for you! I have experience with newborns, babies, toddlers, twins, triplets, middle schools and high school age children. I am bilingual so I can teach them how to speak English or Spanish. I also love cooking my favorite Hispanic and American dishes. I am very flexible when it comes to chores. My most memorable moments are me teaching the babies how to read and write before they started preschool. Once they started preschool they were already ahead of their class! Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. Everything went well during the phone interview and I did my best to explain all the details and emphasized that I needed someone who could show up regularly and on time as I am a single mother and just moved into the area. Therefore, I did not have reliable backup care for my kids and it is important I show up to work on time. I was told the schedule and distance would not be a problem. 3 minutes before she was supposed to watch my kids for the first time, she calls and tells me she would not be able to show up on time regularly. I even messaged her the day before to make sure everything was okay on her end to start work. Wished she would have given me more notice than 3 minutes as it has left me scrambling to find a nanny at the last minute! She did apologize profusely, but it was very disappointing.
