Gloria E. B. was in my employ from August 2014 until July 2016, when my wife passed away. She provided care for my wife who was suffering from Lewy-body dementia and it's related Parkinson symptoms. Ms. B. was responsible for assisting in all area of daily living including meal preparation and feeding, dressing, grooming, bathing, transferring and maintaining the areas used by Mrs. V. Ms. B. performed her responsibilities in a very competent and professional manner. I found her to be compassionate and caring and completely trustworthy. Ms. B.'s experience as an RN was very valuable. She was particularly cognizant of any changes in Mrs. V.'s condition. She would not only recognize changes, but because of her training and experience could assess what the underlying causes might be. Mrs. V. received weekly visits from Sentara Hospice Care nurses. Ms. B. related well with these nurses and participated with them in Mrs. V.'s care plans.
