Greetings, Thank you for visiting here. As a mother of two children - one 27 and one 21 years old - I have enjoyed many hours raising and learning from children, both from my kids as well as from the wonderful friends my children brought into our lives. I have learned that each child has something to teach us, adults. I am currently a semi-retired professor, and in the past I have also worked as a public school substitute teacher (K-middle school) and as a nurse's aide at a retirement home. I love children, and pets, and I love to bake, make crafts, play board games, go for nature walks, and have a good laugh. My schedule is flexible, meaning I am available all days of the week, after 2 p.m. I can do overnights (awake if you need that). I am fully vaccinated and able to do light work in your home. I've known Gitte for over 10 years. We first met when our children were in kindergarten together. During that time I've witnessed Gitte as an extremely caring, thoughtful and devoted mother. I've also seen this care extended to several international students she's hosted in her home over the years and her kindness towards my own children when we were involved in a carpool together. She's shared with me in the past her desire to work in a nursery or kindergarten setting so I know that caring for children is a true interest of hers. I have no doubt she'd be very hands-on with children and great at engaging kids in creative activities.
