About Girlie

I'd describe my personality as genuine, straightforward, & hard working. I like working with kids because they're discoverers of new things & bright. It is great to see their genuine reactions & see them grow. I'm looking for a job that matches my values & evidence that the job values are part of the everyday culture. I started working with kids for over two decades. I started working with the VA Commonwealth University program called AmeriCorps, a national service & volunteerism, working w/ elementary students as a reading & math tutor. In my spare time, I like to read, practice meditation, & go to coffee shops/bookstores. One thing you should know about me is I have strong work ethics, down-to-earth, & can adapt to change. My skills include child development knowledge, First Aid & CPR certified, & effective management & leadership.
