About Gioia

I have over 5 years experiencing working with kids, whether that be nannying, ABA therapy, or even in a classroom, all of these settings have brought me joy. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact in a child's life. I am patient, calm, creative and friendly. Connecting with childs playful and curious mind comes very easily to me. I believe in open communication with parents and provide regular updates about their child's day. I will always respect the household rules set by the parents and adapt my approach accordingly. From being outside to educational games, I enjoy engaging children in various activities that foster their physical, cognitive, and emotional development. My background includes some college, and I have undergone Early Child Development coursework. I am comfortable caring for more than one child at a time and have experience working with special needs children. I hope to one day be a teacher and make a positive impact in a child's life.
