I have experience teaching in both public and private schools. I was also a homeschool teacher to my own children and those of other parents as a certified teacher. Teaching is my passion. Children, especially, are so open to learning new things. I want to teach them to be curious about the world they live in now and to learn from the good and bad of the historical past. I have a lot of experience teaching children to read phonetically. I was the child of missionaries while living in Chile which inspired an inquisitiveness about foreign places. I enjoy traveling because it allows me to experience cultures different from my own. I teach/model what it means to be a responsible citizen in how we treat others and how we care for our physical world. I try to make any task fun like turning chores and homework into games. I am a very energetic, fun grandmother/tutor.
