About Gina

My experience with children began at a young age, as I'm the oldest of 4. My 2 brothers are 10 and 12 yrs younger than I so I became their sister/mom right away! From early on, I've been around kids of all ages as my mom and grandmother both watched children for the state of Connecticut, where I'm from for many years and I was always glad to help. In my teens I did a major amount of sitting not just for family, but for many families in my town. One of my longest clients had 5 children, newborn to 12 yrs. old. I sat for them when I was 15 and began overnights at 17. I've been doing my share of babysitting ever since. As I've always enjoyed helping others, in my early 30s I became a CNA and began helping the elderly & the disabled in a residential setting as well as private duty, in which I enjoyed the 1 on 1 setting the most. Since the passing of my husband 5yrs ago, I have alot of free time on my hands and would enjoy helping out whenever I'm needed.
