Gina is by far the best home caregiver. I was so lucky to have her care for my father. She has the heart and soul of a loving, respectful companion and the training, knowledge and expertise of a healthcare provider. It’s not just a job to her; instead, it’s a new relationship that she forges with your loved one, establishing the confidence and sense of security they need to feel when a stranger comes to care for them. She became a trusted new friend to my father. They had their own lifestyle. He looked forward to being with her and I was able to have some peace of mind knowing she was on the job. When he had health issues, Gina responded quickly knowing how to identify them and communicate to his family if more intervention was needed. Today there’s a great need for home health aides and there are many agencies and individuals out there claiming to provide elder care services. Most of them know how to do the job, but few of them understand the emotional experience of a frail, vulnerable person who must entrust themselves to a stranger. When they meet Gina, they’re not afraid.
