About Gina

I am a former Henrico County middle/high school Spanish teacher. I love helping students better understand the language and develop study skills to support long-term fluency. I'd describe my personality as happy, supportive, understanding I like tutoring because I understand that learning a foreign language in school isn't difficult and extra support and practice is needed at times to be successful. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to work with students who want to learn. I love the feeling of supporting a learner to give them opportunity to gain the confidence and skills to be successful on their own. I started tutoring when I was a Henrico County Public School teacher. In my spare time, I like to my two boys, family and friends. I also have many creative hobbies like sewing, crochet and knitting. I have a degree in Spanish education and I grew up speaking Spanish at home. My skills include language learning study skills, patience and organization.
