As a previous teacher, I have great love and loyalty for those in my care. I'd describe my personality as being engaging, principled, and compassionate. I first started working with kids when I was a teenager giving horseback riding lessons. I taught acting for several years at Grand Rapids Civic Theater, (having been a stage and commercial actress) and then taught school (Spanish) for 20+ years. My most treasured job, however, has been being Mom to my now 21-year-old twins. In my spare time, I like to ride my horse, garden, and read.
