I am a licensed health teacher but in recent years, I have preferred to work privately with individual families taking care of elderly family members and/or sometimes as a nanny for children. My Bachelor of Science degree is in health (w/a minor in counseling) and my professional work history in the health field also lends well to qualify me as a gifted senior caregiver or companion. I have cared for a variety of people and ages in the past including a woman recovering from back surgery, and one with cancer and a man after brain surgery and a disabled man. I have wonderful references from these assignments that you may phone and talk with. In addition to my elder care references, you may appreciate knowing that I also have a 5+ point DMV driving record, and can pass any credit or any level background check (and I love animals).
