I am a licensed Special Education teacher with a bachelors of arts in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from Lesley University. I have provided childcare for a 8-year-old with autism and physical disabilities. I have worked in classrooms for children diagnosed with a variety of significant diagnosis from grades PreK-8 as well an an inclusive classroom for 2nd grades for an entire school year. I have experience in providing academic support and tutoring to children with and without disabilities during the COVID-19 school closures as well as experience running online learning. I have been a one-on-one aid to children with autism for multiple weeks at a summer camp. I have worked as a camp counselor at a sleep away camp since I was 16 and have been an Assistant Unit Director and the Unit Director for a unit of up to 44 children between the ages of 6-11. These children have a range of disabilities and mental illnesses as well as family trauma.
