About Gigi

I like working with kids because growing up I always had a nanny, but one of them left a very positive impact on my childhood, that I still keep in touch with today! At 15 I was a junior swim coach assisting ages 4-8 in the pool. At age 16 I gave swim lessons to ages 3-10 including kids with special needs, teaching water safety and competitive swimming skills. At 17 I volunteered to be a camp counselor for a week long overnight trip for 12 fifth graders with special needs. This trip was super fun and taught me so much about caring for kids. In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends and go to the beach. I also love listening to music and just slowing things down and taking care of myself. One thing you should know about me is I am a full time student at California State University Long Beach and I do have class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00.
