Hello! My name is Gianna and I am 20 years old and a junior at Ohio University. I am a Communication Sciences and Disorders Major. I have been working with children and adults with special needs my whole life, as my mother is a special educator. I have worked as a caregiver through an agency, a camp counselor for individuals with special needs, para educator and I have been a swim teacher for individuals with multiple disabilities. I have volunteered for many years with individuals with multiple disabilities. I am comfortable and experiences with autism, down syndrome, CP, epilepsy, G- Tube feedings, wheel-chairs and individuals who are non-verbal. I am very familiar and knowledgeable with AAC devices. I have a reliable car and am comfortable going out in public to do certain activities. I am comfortable with ADL! I have experience with ASL! I have all my clearances and CPR certificate!
