About Gerda

HI! My name is Gerda and I'm as passionate about working with new mothers during their postpartum journey, as I am about caring for their newborns. They go hand in hand. I have more than 20 years experience as a Newborn Care Specialist and Nanny. I'm very proud of my career and worked with dozens of families over the years. I am laid-back, patient, and responsible. I strive to be positive and provide a nurturing environment for the children under my care, as well as to their parents. I'm passionate about continuing my education in childcare and take multiple classes a year. I have certificates in more than 10 areas including NCS, Lactation, Infant Sleep Fundamentals, Postpartum Doula, Postpartum Traditional Practices (Nutrition), etc. I love children of all ages, but my passion is infant and postpartum care. I have excellent references, a clean background and driving record, and am available for travel. I look forward to meeting your family!
