I am a former 9th grade English teacher turned Behavior Specialist as a result of working as an in-home/school behavioral interventionist and receiving my school psychologist credential. Helping children with pivotal barriers is my WHY. I am passionate about working with challenging behavior and merged my love for teaching with my fascination for psychology by earning a master's degree in School Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. I also completed an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology with an embedded Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential and a specialization in Clinical and Educationally Related Mental Health Counseling. I ultimately bring a lens of understanding cognition, social-emotional & behavior needs as it relates to a person's development, and I do my best to apply my skills and knowledge to every opportunity I am given- while also being full of dedication, flexibility, and empathy.
