About Georgia

I have experience teaching pre-K through 8th grade, tutoring middle school students in one-on-one and group settings, and spent the past school year teaching an after-school STEM program with the Eugene 4J school district. I care deeply about accessibility and creating an engaging learning environment for students (also, I have a ton of cool science experiments up my sleeve)! I have a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in art history from the University of Oregon. I've been working as a microbiologist for three years and have publications in multiple journals. I am strongest in science, math, English, and writing. This upcoming school year is going to be a weird one for all of us, but I have experience with remote learning and am confident we will make it through this. We can't say enough positive things about Georgia. She was thoughtful, respectful, and I know that she really cared about our kids. Lots of time outside, baking, arts and crafts, and helping with virtual learning. She did it all. I would hire her again in a heartbeat:)
