As a caregiver, I draw upon my two decades of experience to create a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive. My passion for childcare stems from my previous babysitting roles, where I discovered the joy of positively impacting children's lives. I believe that open communication is key to building trust with parents. I prioritize verbal communication during pickup, provide regular updates via text or phone call, and adapt to the parents' preferred communication method. My calm, patient, and approachable demeanor allows children to feel comfortable and secure in my care. I uphold household rules consistently and am comfortable enforcing them. I am skilled at engaging children in a variety of games and activities, from outdoor sports to board games to technology-based games and apps. In addition to childcare, I am happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision.
