About Georgia

I worked in a dementia care center for 7 years helping seniors aged 60-90 years old. While at the dementia senior home, I created multiple programs such as music and memory, senior workouts, out-loud reading and tea, and karaoke. As well, I helped set-up dinners, prepare food, and care for the seniors' needs. I also spent several months caring for a patient 1:1 which trained me in medication management, bathing, dressing, and medication administration. However, at the heart of the care I provide is connection. Oftentimes, I would sit with the seniors, listen to their stories, engage with them, and provide a level of conversation, interest, intellect and connection that many of them did not have.
