Hello! My name is George and I am currently a student at Vanderbilt University working to get my degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching since my senior year in high school and have experience in multiple camp and classroom settings in New York, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Tennessee. I just graduated from Williams College where I majored in Economics and History, and was a four year letterman on the school's Varsity Baseball team. I have prior babysitting and nannying experience from my high school career and during the COVID pandemic, and feel comfortable taking care of multiple children under the age of 5 at a time. During my time working at the Levine JCC in Charlotte, I have spent five summers as a lead counselor for campers aged 1-7 (10-15 kids per class), and also have experience teaching children slightly older than that as well (I have volunteered at a Reading Camp for 2nd and 3rd graders in Charlotte).
