About Gennessa

Hi, I'm Gennessa! I have over 15 years of experience working with children from newborns to 12 years old. My background includes babysitting, nannying, and providing 1:1 support to children with autism. I also hold a bachelor's degree in human development and psychology. For the past eight years, I worked in behavioral therapy, helping young learners with autism develop essential skills. I recently transitioned into an administrative role at UWGB, but my passion for working with kids remains strong. I love engaging children in fun activities like games, crafts, and outdoor play, as well as creating calm moments with books or movies. I pride myself on being kind, empathetic, and highly communicative. I understand the importance of building trust with both children and parents, ensuring a safe, supportive, and enjoyable experience.
