I have 2 years experience of working with children on the spectrum and with special needs and I have my RBT certificate. Within those two years I have worked with non-verbal/verbal kids on the spectrum and children with Cerebral Palsy. While working with these kids, I have helped with motor control, feeding and play. I have always felt a special connection with children who have special needs and after I get my MSW I plan to continue working with special needs children and their families.
