About Geneva

I have a Master's in Special Education and a BS in Chemistry. I worked as a chemist for 7 years before deciding to become a teacher. I have experience teaching preK-10th grade. I also tutored college freshmen in Chemistry while in grad school. I am creative and patient. I truly believe in an individualized approach to education. I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic, flexible and creative. I like tutoring because I enjoy getting to know students style of learning and creating lessons that fit them best. In my spare time, I like to read, go for walks, crochet and listen to music. My skills include unique lesson plans, knowledgeable in a variety of subjects (algebra, chemistry, biology, physics, language arts).
