About Genesis

I've been volunteering at my church's children's ministry since I was 12. I mainly worked with children ages 4-5 but also spent time with children from 2-3 and 6-8 years of age. In my senior year of high school I interned at an early childhood education center in the infant room. I loved it so when it was over I started volunteering at the nursery at my church where I still love to spend time with the infants and toddlers! These experiences have interested me in pursuing a career with children. I've taken 5 child development classes at Cuyamaca College where I've learned a lot. I would love to start applying this knowledge as a nanny. I understand how important our childhood is in shaping us so I aspire to learn the best ways to raise healthy children in a safe and caring environment where they are free to explore the world and their interests. I hope to be a source of safety and care for your children all the while having fun and helping them in whatever they may need.
