About Genesee

I absolutely adore being around children. I am comfortable with all age groups starting from infantry to adolescence. I have plenty of experience being around them as I used to be a babysitter in my early teen years. My tasks for my families included cooking, nap time, playtime, homework help, housework, physical activity, etc.. I was also an afterschool teacher at an elementary school in California this past year before moving to Washington. I provided students with English, math, history, and science homework. I also created a few games, both indoor and outdoor to help keep my students engaged and interacted with each other. My favorite part of my jobs as watching the children grow and accomplish their learning tasks. Assisting them when needed and watching them not need my help was the best feeling. My students felt safe, heard, and free to share their feelings and experiences and I loved creating that safe space for them to be themselves and explore life. But, it's not all fun and
