About Gemma

I am a first year student at Oregon State University studying Marketing. I am in a sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi, which I love and has given me great community service opportunities and amazing friendships! I've always had a passion for caring for kids. I've been babysitting and leading summer camps since middle school. I have always enjoyed hanging out with kids and love to have a good time with them and make them happy. I can best describe myself as patient, calm, and creative. I believe in fostering a friendly and approachable environment for children, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported. When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in open and transparent dialogue, either verbally at pickup or through their preferred communication method. I strongly believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, ensuring consistency and respect for their parenting style. My enthusiasm for childcare extends to various games and activities.
