Hi there! I'm Geena, and I usually work full-time in Minnesota at a small animal vet clinic as a certified veterinary technician. Currently, I am traveling for a year in a camper van with my two dogs, and am looking for opportunities to continue caring for our furry friends. After that, I'll go back to my FT job . Previous to being a vet tech, I worked at a dog walking and pet sitting company for 4 years, with the last year as assistant manager. I started working with animals when I was a child. I grew up on a hobby farm with horses, cats, dogs, birds, gerbils, guinea pigs, and more. In 2019 I became a dog walker to earn more money during college, and after more schooling in 2023 I received my veterinary technician certification. One thing you should know about me is I currently live a nomadic lifestyle in a van! My skills include first aid and CPR, extensive knowledge on animal behavior, and I give expert-level cuddles and ear scratches.

Geena is an amazing animal caretaker. She has helped me care for my dog Maynard and my previous cats Cali and Dee. I have also observed her care for her own pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats. Her extensive experience, steady demeaner, and caring nature make her qualified to care for pets of any age and those with special needs. For me personally she has worked with my dog who is reactive when seeing other dogs on a walk. Geena does a great job being attentive to my dogs behavior and taking precautions to keep him calm and safe while out on his walk. She has also fed and given my dog medications. For my cats, Geena has visited numerous times and provided food, water, and litter box cleaning. Also, when needed due to medical reasons she has provided oral and under skin injection medications to the cats.
