About Geena

As a caregiver, my passion for working with children stems from my positive experiences babysitting my cousin's daughter for three years. Seeing her grow from a toddler to a kindergartener inspired me to pursue a career where I can make a positive impact on children's lives. But also have a connection with tweens who are looking for guidance going into secondary school. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, whether through verbal updates at pickup or regular text or phone calls. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child. When it comes to playtime, I enjoy engaging children in outdoor sports, educational games, and technology-based activities. With two years of experience, I can comfortably care for one child at a time and am open to helping with light housekeeping and travel from activities. I am also fluent in English and Spanish
