About Gayle

I am a 66-year-old widow who is a caring, compassionate, and patient nurturer and caregiver, and whose 83-year-old husband passed away in April 2021. I was not only his wife (we were married 19 years and together 21 years), but also his caregiver as well. From 2016 to April 2021 I took care of my husband's medical and physical needs as well as his mental and emotional needs. He was diagnosed with dementia in 2019. Since my late husband had various health issues, I am able to administer insulin shots and medications, provide post-operative care, incontinence care, bathe and dress an elderly person, prepare healthy meals, prepare weekly medication, help with physical therapy and using mobility aids, dementia care, and most of all provide loving, caring companionship. I like to keep a clean and orderly home as well as cook, bake, clean, do chores, and laundry. I have been a Respite Care Provider for a multi-handicapped young man for 13 years. I am CPR and First Aid Certified.
