About Gayle

Hi, my name is Gayle. I have been a nanny for 12 years. My first family was with 4-year-old and newborn twin boys. I spent four years with the family and loved those little guys very much. I also cared for triplet boys. I started when they were 5 weeks old and stayed 6 1/2 years. I also love and care for these little boys like they were my own. When triplets started first grade I was done with that position. I currently care for a little guy who is turning 2. He was 3 weeks old when I started. I have taken care of other children one to two days a week on different occasions. When the triplets were newborns, I made sure each of them was cuddled, rocked, sang to and stimulated throughout the day. I sat up play stations in different areas of their home and moved the babies to these different stations. I believe babies get bored and like new surroundings. As they got older, I continued the bonding process and made sure they were all loved and felt very secure with me. We read, played make-believe, sang, walked, told stories, and used our imagination all of the time with different play. We do many craft projects, cook, go for bike rides and play Spiderman by the hour. We learned math, history, current events and reading. I have never raised my voice with any of the children. I believe in redirecting when they are young and now the kids are older I have listening boxes. Twice a day if the boys were good listeners they got to pick a treat from the listening box. This has always worked wonders! I am CPR/First Aid certified. I also have all my clearances, as I was a court advocate for children in the foster care system. Being a parent myself, I know how difficult it is to go to work and trust your child with someone. I can promise you this, I will take excellent care of your baby, make sure he/she is loved and made to feel secure. Thank you!
