About Garrett

Hello! I enjoy working with kids and providing them with a fun, impactful, positive, and encouraging environment that will leave them with skills and memories to last. I started working with kids my junior year of high school when I worked as a P. E. Tutor. This extended into my senior year where I tutored for another 1st grade class. I instructed the class with warm-ups, stretches, pushing themselves physically, and games. Last summer, I began teaching swim lessons to kids ranging from 9 months to 15 years. I have worked since then on building swimmer confidence and comfort in the water. Another area of teaching was my 3. 5 years of karate instructional experience where I trained for 5 years. For 6 months, I taught two classes per week for an hour each class, enhancing my ability to convey technique and information even more effectively! I feel tremendously comfortable with multiple areas of tutoring. I look forward to improving confidence, readiness, and skills in the classroom!
