I'd describe my personality as caring, reliable, and fun-loving. I like caring for seniors because they deserve to be listened to and treated more like a friend than a patient and I can do that. I like their company. I'm looking for a part-time job in Valpo, preferably, and light nursing duty/companion care. No lifting due to an old back injury. I started caring for seniors about 30 yrs ago. I am 71. I spent my last 8 yrs before retirement on an Alzheimer's unit. In my spare time, I like to bike, swim, read, play wordle, visit family, play Canasta and Scrabble and watch old westerns like Gunsmoke on t. v. One thing you should know about me is that I have a good heart. My skills include: g-tube's, trach care, dealing with dementia, but I seek a light duty nursing/companion job. No lifting due to an old back injury. Great references!
