About Gail

I'd describe my personality as gregarious, cheerful, and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because it provides me a sense of purpose because both my parents have passed away and I have no children. I'm looking for a job where someone values my help and knows that I genuinely care. Flexibility in scheduling is also important. I started caring for seniors when I responded to a posting for a female senior who needed help with transportation to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, errands, email correspondence, and small projects around the house. In my spare time, I like to watercolor, go to museums and art exhibitions, play card games with friends and spend time with my husband. I am incredibly compassionate and have a real desire to help people, especially seniors and kids. I also volunteer as a math tutor for one hour per week at a public school in Chapel Hill and have taken care of elementary aged kids after school. We do homework and bake/cook or draw or paint.
