About Gaila

I am a very caring, patient and loving person. I started caring for seniors in 2019 as I needed extra income in addition to my full-time teaching position. I took care of a lady with dementia for about six months. I prepared her meals and reminded her to take her medication. I also took her on a few outings to get ice cream and go to an apple orchard. I have always loved the elderly and enjoy hearing of times gone by and life stories. I am looking for a position as a companion. I can cook meals, do light housekeeping, and laundry. I would also be happy to do shopping. If you are looking for any of the things I can provide, I would love to hear from you. I am available on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time with my family playing board and card games.

Gaila cared for my mother in law who suffered with dementia. Gaila was always extremely kind to her, respectful to her and was diligent to engage her in conversation and activities. We were so blessed to have Gaila help us out. I highly recommend Gaila.
