I've worked as needed with the family she worked for in the city for 7 years. I was a home health aid in New York for 4 years for seniors which allows me to have experience with meal prepping, transporting, good supervision skills, and companionship. In New York, my last job was working with autism for a year at Young Institute for Adults. I helped people I support to become independent. I am CPR certified and have references.

Gaelle was absolutely AMAZING with our son!!! He is 3 years old and has Autism and a Speech Delay. We have always been terrified to leave him with a sitter, but Gaelle made us feel at ease from the get-go. She asked questions about his likes/dislikes/schedule before coming into our home. This made me feel like she prioritized his care by ensuring her preparedness of what caring for him would look like. She was also really good at sending pictures and videos throughout her time with him. She got him outside and active for several hours and kept us up-to-date with how he was eating/if he was sleeping. She also asked for permission to give him a bath at the end of the day and made sure he was clean (which is a difficult task for a 3 year old boy!). Our son seemed happy in his videos and pictures, as well as when we came home. We will definitely hire her again for our next date night!
