About Gabrielle

Hi! My name is Gabrielle; I am a student at Appalachian State University and am currently studying English creative writing and graphic design. I would describe myself as a creative, conscientious, organized, and honest person. I have been babysitting for nearly 10 years, and recently I was awarded the "cool aunt" title by my very spunky6-year-old niece. I have experience working with newborns to children in their early adolescence (11-13). Outside of childcare, I have a lot of experience working with special needs individuals. I spent many summers volunteering at HUGS camp, a week-long summer camp for special needs adults and children. Additionally, in high school, I was a Curriculum Assistance Leader, and I worked with small groups of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Caring for others has always come naturally to me. With my final year of college approaching, I am motivated to make a little extra money while coincidentally doing what I love.
