About Gabrielle

I've always had a natural connection with children, and I love being a part of their development. Incorporating creative, outdoor, and educational activities are all core attributes of my childcare experiences. My experience also includes preparing meals, after-school pick-ups, tutoring, extensive first aid training, and adult/infant CPR certification. Originally from Maine, I'm currently living in the Marina District while pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and English Literature at SFSU. After I graduate, I plan to use my teaching credential to work in outdoor education, as I believe the backcountry is a significant educational tool. My childcare experience began in my hometown where I babysat children ages 6 months- 12 years. Over the many years I spent with those children, I was able to build strong connections and refine my caregiving skills. Picking berries, playing at the beach, swimming in the ocean, playing dress-up, and painting are some of my favorite memories!
