To tell you a little bit about myself, my husband and I recently moved to the area. For the last six years I taught first grade in MD. Prior to that, I nannied for many years while earning my bachelors and masters. It has always been a passion of mine to work with kids, so now I am in search for a family to help here. I am comfortable working with kids as young as 6 months, to age 14. I would like to find a family that has 1 or 2 children. Those two factors will determine my rate. Homes with dogs or cats are not a problem for me! What I am looking for in my next position is a family that I can fit in with ease. I have been blessed in the past to work with some amazing families. I am very organized, so a tidy home is ideal. I would like to find a family that has well known rules in place. I believe it's critical to have respect between the kids and myself. I have a big heart and try to let them know we have rules to keep them safe and happy. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Gabby has been helping care for our 3 year old son since October 2016. I am a nurse with a varying schedule and leave early for the hospital, so on the days I am working she comes bright and early (6 a.m.!). She helps my son with breakfast, getting ready for his day, a little bit of play time and drives him to his preschool which is a few miles away from our house. She is always on time and flexible with schedule changes. On occasion she has helped care for our older daughter as well on a sick day or school holiday and has been great keeping her busy with trips to the library, playground, park etc. Super helpful that she cleans up the messes that my very active little boy makes too!!! I highly recommend Gabby.
