About Gabriel

I'd describe my personality as positive, calm, and outgoing I like working with kids because I find it to be entertaining. More importantly I enjoy sharing the skills and knowledge I have with them to help them grow into better people. My first time working with kids was in 2019 at my towns local summer camp. Then I worked for the Hackensack YMCA/YMCA of Greater Bergen at there summer camp in 2021 and 2022. This past summer I was hired at the Meadowlands YMCA, as a camp counselor and Before/Aftercare counselor over the school year. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, on runs, read(currently reading Game of Thrones), and go thrifting. One thing you should know about me is that I was a boy scout growing up which taught me a wide variety of both survival and life skills. (I'm an Eagle Scout) My skills include being compassionate, patient, and effective problem solving.
