About Gabriela

I work well with children of all ages. I have experience with newborns and toddlers and in early education. I've learned how important it is to follow a child's schedule and how to be flexible with their needs/demands. I like to speak to parents about their children and have a sense of how they raise their them. I know how important it is to have consistency when taking care of a child. I also like to talk to parents about their expectations for when I am taking care of their child(ren). I am very aware of one's feelings and know how to de-escalate certain situations and how to redirect their behaviors in a more positive direction. When taking care of children, I like to be involved in different activities such as arts and crafts, making snacks, or physical activities. I like to be involved as much as possible and take my time with each of them when under my care. I want to make them feel as if they are not being overlooked or neglected. My goal is to make everyone feel safe and sound.
