About Gabriela

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, enthusiastic, and flexible I like working with kids because I've always felt like my purpose in life was to help people, I find joy in giving to others what has been given to me. My skills and passion to help others is better suited to helping and caring for children. I started working with kids during middle school as a mentor at a summer band camp where I helped fellow peers expand their musical talents. During high school I became a teacher assistant first to my mom's classroom where I helped students who needed a little extra assistance during their lessons and second my senior year of high school where I aided in a kindergarten classroom. At my old church I worked in the nursery and with some of the pre-K kids. I also use to babysit for some of my mom's teacher friends and have babysat for special needs children. My skills include being able to effectively communicate, good judgment when it comes to a child's care, and patience.
