We wholeheartedly recommend Fumi. We employed her as a caretaker for my mother from July 2020 until my passed away in 2025. My mother had advanced dementia and Parkinson’s, along with several other health conditions that required vigilant and compassionate care. Over those years, Fumi proved to be an extraordinary and invaluable part of our family’s support system, providing not just basic care but also becoming someone we came to rely on and trust wholeheartedly. Fumi was responsible for feeding, bathing, and dressing my mother, as well as providing companion care and assisting with her physical and speech therapy. She consistently anticipated other needs and proactively acted before we even knew to ask for help—monitoring low supplies, offering recipes and preparing them, and proposing solutions to improve my mother’s mobility and her ability to eat and drink. Her professional skills are impeccable—she is knowledgeable about medical care requirements and highly skilled in physical care tasks. What sets Fumi apart is her reliability; she consistently arrived early for her shifts and embraced responsibilities such as preparing healthy meals and maintaining household cleanliness during my mother’s rest periods. The personal dedication and emotional support Fumi provided cannot be overstated. She treated my mother with immense compassion, exhibiting patience and empathy that went beyond our expectations. For instance, despite my mother’s limited verbal communication abilities, Fumi successfully engaged her in speech therapy and even encouraged her to sing and express simple phrases like “I love you.” These moments were profoundly meaningful to our family, showcasing Fumi’s perseverance and heartfelt care. Fumi’s impact on our family was transformative. With her support, my mother maintained her mobility and engaged in regular therapy, which we believe significantly improved and extended her quality of life. Furthermore, under Fumi’s care, my mother’s health saw remarkable improvements: her diabetic condition was managed so well through diet that she no longer required medication, and her blood pressure stabilized as well. Fumi is not only the best caregiver we have ever employed but is truly one of the most outstanding individuals we have had the privilege to know. Her presence brought immense comfort and joy, enhancing my mother’s quality of life during the years she was under Fumi’s care.
