About Francis

I have worked in education and childcare for the past decade in roles spanning from camp counselor to mentor to tutor to administrator. I have worked with neurodivergent and ESL children and adult learners. Through these experiences, I have gained excellent interpersonal skills. I am known for my warm and empathetic approach to teaching and care. I am an aspiring clinical psychologist so I have great 'people' skills generally and understand the developmental needs of students/children under my care. Academically, I am able to tutor K-12 and some college content (almost any subject except hard sciences; I can tutor basic college biology) I'd describe my personality as calm, warm, and friendly. I like tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to share my love of learning with others. A central goal of my teaching is to foster that enthusiasm for my students. My skills include student engagement, organization, and having a broad knowledge base.
