Dependability - She was always on time and gave us a lot of advance notice if she needed some time off. Flexibility - She was always willing to adjust her hours to meet our needs, which included her staying 24/7 at our house for a week while my wife and I were out of town. Caring for her clients - First, she would routinely take them out for trips without being asked to ensure my in-laws were happy. This was particularly impressive as she used her own car/gas to do this and didn't ask for extra pay. Another example is that she bought board games with her own money and would sit with my in-laws and play games to keep them intellectually stimulated. Can do attitude - no matter what we asked (e.g., doing laundry, cooking meals, taking then grocery shopping, etc.) she would do it with a smile. Safety comes first - not only did she drive them around daily without incident she also enforced the use of walkers - which was impressive as my father-in-law was very resistant. She had that perfect, firm but non-controversial, approach to dealing with him - that is something I have yet to learn. I guess the ultimate measure is that my in-laws miss having her around, they considered her part of the family.
