About Frances

I’d describe my personality as sensitive, vivacious and intelligent. I like tutoring because I have found that one on one teaching really helps students get past any holes in their learning or blocks they may have. I’m looking for a job where I can make a positive difference in someone's life, whether it's in tutoring, or caring for others. I started tutoring many years ago. I have tutored privately for the last five years, but I also tutored my own students after school when I was teaching in a regular classroom. In my spare time, I like to read extensively, go to plays, movies, and art museums. One thing you should know about me is I am extremely reliable. I am very conscientious about meeting expectations, so any instructions or suggestions that you give I will follow to the best of my ability. My skills include a wide variety of subjects, I can teach math up through pre-calculus, English and French up through the senior levels.
