I was raised around children and adults with special needs because my sibling has Angelman's Syndrome. I would go visit her at school, and also be around her and her friends for the majority of the day as I was growing up. When I came to New York City to study music, I realized that I could very easily see the needs and personalities of children of all strengths and weaknesses, and that they liked being around me and I liked working with them. So, I decided to be a babysitter part time. I started my work with children with autism spectrum disorders. I would like to keep going with the profession, with all types of disabilities, and also 'typical kids'. I have been a babysitter for both typical kids and children with disabilities for three years. I love to make up games, and teach music and art. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have.
