As a single mum, I have a 21-year-old Eagle Scout. I have assisted in his classes and actively participated in parent groups in my son's schools throughout the years. I was a Scout leader for 5 years and Assistant Cub Scout Master for 2 years! With my son I am always involved in family, sports and community. I am nurturing and love to be proactive and share new things to learn every day! I can drive, cook, take care of pets and help with homework. I am also bilingual English/French with working knowledge of German and Italian. I am artistic by training (BFA - interior Design) and enjoy hands-on activities. I would be happy to share my references. I have been a caregiver for an elderly parent for 10 years and recently here in Charlotte with patient recovering from back surgery. Skilled with personal care, exercises, feeding, dispensing medications, assisting with walker with and with/out gate- belt. Transferring into Hoyer lift and in to wheelchair and back. Transportation with transfer bench/not. I am a very good cook always keeping nutritional needs in mind. I am diligent, steadfast, gentle and always compassionate.

Frances C. has been a trusted friend of mine for over fourteen years. During that time I have seen her take on a number of responsible positions working with both children, adults and pets. Frances served very capably as my son's Cub Scout Den Leader for four years, leading a group of very active young boys along the path of Scouting while interacting well with their parents. Several of her Cub Scouts went on as teenagers to achieve the notable and rare rank of Eagle Scout. I am sure that a portion of their success was due to the good start in Scouting that they received under Frances' leadership. She also made Scouting fun for them by putting quite a bit of effort into planning their activities. I served for several years with her on a parent support group at the school our sons attended. She work efficiently and effectively to support fund raising efforts to benefit the student body, at times in a leadership role.She is adept at organizing activities and works hard for the success of projects. She was in a school carpool with our family which demonstrates that I trusted her to drive with my son in her car over winter roads in Connecticut which are often not in the best condition due to the weather. Frances has been a guest in my home on many occasions, sometimes staying there while we were out, and I trust her completely to do that. She interacts well with our two cats and I have observed her dog-sitting for another person's dog. She took excellent care of the dog and was mindful of his safety and emotional needs. I would trust her to house-sit for me or to care for my animals in my absence. For several years, Frances oversaw the care of her elderly ailing mother, supervising care-givers and providing care herself in a kind and effective manner.
